2018 KACD Outstanding Conservation District

LOCAL COST SHARE SIGN-UP

SIGN-UPS Starting July 1st, 2024 to June 1st, 2025

The Franklin County Conservation District has set aside funds for Local Cost Share Programs
to begin July 1, 2024 and conclude on June 1, 2025. There is a limited amount of funds set
aside for these programs, and approval will be at the District Board of Supervisor’s discretion.
Cost share funds for fiscal year 2024-2025 will be paid on a first come first serve basis and once the cost share limit of $135,000.00 is reached by the district no more payments will be approved. Applicants are limited to $2,500.00 per program year. ONLY RECEIPTS FOR THE PROGRAMS THAT YOU ARE APPROVED FOR WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT.

Conservation Cost Share Programs: (SELECT ANY OF THE 12 PROGRAMS LISTED BELOW.)

  1. _____ Conservation Resource Concern (50% up to $2,500)

  2. _____ Cover Crop/Fall Seed Program (50% up to $750)

  3. _____ Fertilize Program (50% up to $2,500)

  4. _____ Forage Management Program (50% up to $750)

  5. _____ Heavy Use Area (50% up to $2,500)

  6. _____ Lime Program (50% up to $750)

  7. _____ Pipeline and Water Tank/Solar Pump  (50% up to $2,500)

  8. _____ Pond Cleanout/Dam & Spillway Repair (50% up to $2,500)

  9. _____ Rock Gateway Program (50% up to $750 on 1 gateway)

  10. _____ Rotational Grazing Supplies (50% up to $750)

  11. _____ Spring Seeding Program (50% up to $750)

  12. _____ Weed Control Program (50% up to $750)


URBAN COST SHARE PROGRAMS 2024-2025

   Programs: SELECT ONLY 1 OF THE 5 PROGRAMS LISTED.
          1. Raised Garden Beds (50% up to $250)

          2.  Rain Barrels (50% up to $250)
          3. Compost Bins (50% up to $250)

          4. Pollinator Gardens (50% up to $250)
          5.  Beehives (50% up to $250)
   Eligibility Requirements:
   Limit of ONE application per household
   Franklin County Residents only
   Application must be approved before starting project

   Legible receipts and photographs of completed project must be submitted
